I ❤ David Byrne

I expect this song to be playing when I die.

Most people haven't heard about this film, we had a television recording of it in the 90's and it was so frequently watched that the tracking lines became deeply engrained. Therefore I am grateful to the internet that I can watch it crisp and small on my laptop and as often as I like.
Buy it, it's too good not to be part of your life. Here, I'll tell you a little about it...
Byrne takes a drive through Virgil, Texas and in the 80's. He gives a commentary of how Texas is evolving and meets eccentric characters who live there. Their lives involve songs by Talking Heads, which are performed in church, at the mall, nightclubs and by kids in the street bashing bin lids together. It has a sense of documentary but for the most part we are spying on them. And the soundtrack- is incredible. The best Talking Heads record of all!

Thank you, never heard about this film before.

[off-topic] Just bought a t-shirt with your artwork for Bat For Lashes. Love it :) fits her musical universe pretty much.
