Tarkovsky

Today; Tarkovsky

I've seen only a portion of his films, and there are a few waiting for me close by. It's just the films are terribly intense and your mind must be perfectly adjustable in preparation to watch.
Once on a rainy day on Eland Street, we watched "Stalker" until it turned dark outside and I was very fragmented afterward. But I'm often quite deeply affected by movies.
"Mirror" is the first Tarkovsky film I watched, and I watched it with Nanette at the ICA, then I returned a few days later and watched it again with Badzia.
Although it's Russia, the scenes of fields and forests remind me of my childhood summers in Poland.
